Rear Wiper Arm problem

I replaced the rear wiper arm and now the wiper blade becomes stuck on the underside of the glass and will not move any further over the window. What adjustments do I need to make? Thanks

This is a common problem that plagues Explorers. Sometimes, the solution is as simple as rebending the arm. I've owned four 2nd gen Explorers that have all had this problem and it didn't hit me until I got rid of the last one that I should have just taken a small 12"-14" piece of weatherstripping or similar material and fastened it in the gap somehow so that the wiper arm would glide over it.

that sounds like it might have to do but hoping to find some way to make an adjustment without adding something else to the mix
