I just bought a 94 ex.
The rear wiper arm is broken completely off.

Welcome to the forum!

I haven't had to do that, but check a Haynes or Chilton's manual, or you can look at the repair guides at autozone.com which is an electronic version of Chilton's.

Hope this helps.

Mike

take a screwdriver to the inside of the arm there should be a clip pry on that then lift the remaining portion of wiper arm. Its going to be a basterd to get off of the splined shaft but once thats off measure the diameter of the splined shaft so that your replacement is the right size

Sweet, I got it off earlier. I didn't know there were more than 1 size shaft. Mine is pretty wide.

you have the one in diameter shaft so the arm shouldnt be more than 20 dollars new at your local parts store

when you put your new one on get ready for adjustment city, i also reccomend bending your wiper at the outer edge if it does not wipe well at the outer edge (mine did that) if you can get pictures of your x use photobucket.com to store them and then just post them so we can see your progress

I've been taking picks of the progress.
I bought it from a mechanic for $500 and it was FILTHY, inside and out.

Well, I spent 5+ hours in the last 3 days just cleaning the inside. It still needs another quick once over and another vacuum job.
I still need to clean the wheels, and the rest of the outside.I plan on going over the whole car with rubbing compound and a good coat of wax along with some touch-up paint.
