Recommend Cold Air Intake?

so i was looking into cold air intakes to replace my factory explorer sport 92 one and i found k&n everyone seems to love it. so i started to look up one for my ex and then i found out they dont make one for it :/ i just want to know if anyone has any other cold air intakes installed and which ones you recommend.

I have a K&N and I love it I think it does make a small performance increase, and it its easy to clean. my 2 cents

I put a K&N on my 92 OHV 4.0L. I love it. There is a noticable difference in "pep" and sound, and mileage. Never dyno'd it, but with our 6 cylnder what's the point? When you go to ask for a '92....they won't have it. I think I ended up with a '96 OHV 4.0L set up....it's the same thing. One thing I ran into, I had to move the battery, not a big deal. Easy to install, worth the money in my book.

And just a freindly reminder, in case you're as dumb as I am and have a habbit of going through deep mud/water holes, this intake is higher off the ground than your stock intake but it sucks alot harder and doesn't keep the water out the way your stock one will....can you say hydro-locked? Woops :-(
