Getting ready to order new components for my front end, and then the lift hopefully in the next two weeks. After that I will get the BTF upper control arms, (unless I can find some more reviews of guys without running those, with a lift. I wouldn't care to change the joints out once a year or so, at $30~ a pop, thats a lot better for me than $600 for the UCA's)

I noticed when the X is lifted, the wheels move inward, and I would like to run spacers to push them back out. I love the look of the bigger tires that stick out a bit as well, looks nice and aggressive to me.

What size wheel spacers would you recommend? 1.5" or 2"

I am *hoping* to do a 1" bodylift as well, but it is not set in stone. (I have to figure some other things out, as with the body height now, I don't care for how much of the frame/undercarriage shows.

The most expensive thing holding me back seems to be tires. I purchased new tires only once, for my 2000 Explorer years ago, and spent over $600 on them. I would love to know what size to go with so I can call some of the used tire shops up (I/and friends have purchased many like-new tires from a couple of them over the past couple of years, never had issues and saved a ton of money)

Ill be sticking with my stock wheels for now, which I believe are 16" wheels. (06 XLT)

I wont be doing much off roading, and when I do, it wont be anything serious, and as of now, i'm driving about 65m a day for work. (I do plan on buying a work car sometime this year, but the X would still be my winter work vehicle due to the auto 4x4) As good as they look, I don't want to re-gear or have any issues with the transmission shift points like I have read about some lifted vehicles with big tires.

Thanks in advance for any tips. Pictures are also welcome!

I'm running 265/75/17 which are 31" that is a good size if you want to become big. I have a stock back end and a 3in lift in the front
