4 wire relay ...2 of the connectors are the main power line (to power whatever) side of the relay ( 12v+ input and 12v+ output) the other 2 connectors on the relay are for the solinoid part ( or switchable part,one side comes from a swtich ((12v+)) and the other is to ground
sorry i dont have a spare relay to tell you exactlly what pins are what but if you can pop the top off of the relay ( some you can do this ) you'll see the setup and it's easy to figure out that way. or you can get a 9volt battery and touch the ends on to 2 of the pins till you hear a clicking sound ..if you do then thats the solinoid part of the relay ( the part of the relay that you attach a switch to ) the other 2 are for powering whatever ( main power line) .
