Remote start for a 97 Mounty?

Why would I start in getting a remote start for my mountie? Is there any of these models in this generation that came with remote start or how did that's an option?
Is it something that I would just go to a shop for or something that's pretty easily installed? It's going to get colder and colder from now on and I have a 5-month-old so I'd love to be waking the mount up and warming her up.

Viper alarms make what’s called the smart start… you can easily install this on a 97 with no pats.

Thanks! Are they user installable and able to be activated? BestBuy has them for $320 installed so maybe I should just drop her off there.

Best buy is a certified viper installer, not a bad idea to have them do it
I can do it but that’s because I do lots of wiring and installs
It’s not that complex but you get no support
From viper if you diy
