Removal of overhead console in 96 XLT

I have a 1996 Explorer XLT. How do I remove the overhead console? I cannot get the casing to dislodge from the overhead to reveal the components.

Fuse has been checked and is good. Current is good, but no display from the overhead console for the compass and thermometer.

Can you help me? I need a diagram of how the get started with the casing around the display.

On this topic, do all Explorer's come with the wiring for the overhead display, even if it did not come factory?
