Remove front grille without removing bumper

Is there a way to remove the front grille on the 11-15 Explorer without removing the front bumper? I've heard it's possible to do it. I have a black grille I want to put on and it'd save me time to not remove the whole front bumper.

The front bumper actually comes off fairly easily, you might spend more time working around it than just pulling it off to get the job done.

Did you do a Search? This has been discussed several times before.

Go to the Modified subforum and in the 'Stickies' section, select "List of Useful Threads" and click on "Modified 5th gen........" You will find what you're looking for there. Good luck.
