Hi all,

I tried to search for this but cannot find any reference.
I need to replace the heat exchanger for the A/C and it seems I need to remove the entire dashboard. Can anyone point me to a guide/video/document that shows how to do that?

Thank you all for the support

Regards
Tarek

It is pretty simple.
1.remove center console and all the related components includes armrest assembly.
2.remove steering column and instrument cluster.
3.release console related electric connectors
4.release driver and passenger sides dashboard bolts, bottom windshield side bolts and center console brackets.

Optional: front seats removal or u will possibly scratch the seats leather covers.

Then remove the climate control and blower assembly.

For the full description try to find workshop manual book.

Bazz270: Are there any bolt(s) under the hood on the firewall that need to be removed? I seem to recall a bolt being under the hood but don't recall which model year.

Do you mean underhood bolts for the dashboard removal?

Nope.only the ones from the cabin

Whenever I see a post and pictures of the heater core replacement, it looks like the worst job ever. Pulling an engine or tranny out looks like piece of cake......

@Bazz270 was right about the sequence. I needed some details to locate everything. got an interactive manual and took it on.
Dashboard removal was straightforward. the Blower box was a nightmare. most of it done from engine side with very little space. scratched my arms to shreds.
took about 15 hours in total for me.

thanks everyone for the support.
