It is possibale i made a mistake and messed up some where. I first checked tje 4x computer it blinked 4 times and stoped. Then after reading the repair your shift motor stickey and rebuilt the one i had on the other transfer case when i did a trans swap i had a new transfer case sitting around and installed it hopeing it could solve the problem. I have a second motor to rebuild and will take more time and tedious steps to fix this. I have had this truck for 5 years and have yet to see it 4x and after the last snow im dedicated to fixing this. More info. 1993 ford eb 4 door 4x4 v6 4.0 the dash lights and the button lights have never come on i have a extra switch that i have also tried. I hear the computer click when i push the button but in too much of a hurry to test the motor out and not installed.
