Just finished replacing radiator on 96 V8. New hoses, clamps, and cap too.
Refilled radiator and started engine to check for leaks. Found slight drip around one of the transmission lines. Shut down engine to tighten fitting. Went to start engine and it stumbled and then refused to start up. Starter turns engine, but it won't fire up. Any ideas what might have happenned? Maybe something weird like an air pocket around a coolant temp. sensor? I have fuel at the fuel rail, but haven't checked for spark yet because I'm working by myself (and pissed off!).

Try jacking the front end as high as you can, this may move the air pocket and cause the bubbles to move to the radiator for you. Then you can refill the radiator -
continue burping several times after the engine warms up.

Air in the cooling system isn't going to cause a no start condition.
Did you hit the crank sensor by chance?

Ate lunch and rested for about an hour. Went out to car and it started right up! Let's see if the problem stays gone.
