Replaced side mirror now resets position

My wife ran the passenger side mirror into a mail box. The bodyshop repaired the mirror but everytime she turns the vehicle off, the mirror resets it's position to a default center position instead of the last memory position for her viewing. Does anyone know if this is a DYI job or something I need to take to the dealership to have programmed? She drives a 2013 Sport with BLIS and retractable mirrors. Thanks

You should be able to redo it. After it was replaced did you hit the memory button and hold it when it was where you wanted it. I would try that before anything else. Set the mirror the way you want it, then hold hold down the correct memory button until it beeps. Have her set it the way she wants it and do the same thing. If you hold the button longer then hit the lock unlock switch on the key fob it will learn which key fob is being used also.
