Hi All --
I received my new company car this week -- 2006 Explorer XLT! Woo Hoo!
Anyway, I have an Alpine CDA-9833 which was in my last vehicle, a 2005 F-150. When I went to install it today I discovered that there are three wiring harnesses in the "head unit" that came with the Explorer instead of the one that was on the F-150. The wiring harness that I used in the F-150 fits the larger of the three connectors just fine. What are the two smaller ones for?
The Explorer stereo is the basic AM/FM/Single CD.
Also, I discovered that I will need an antenna adapter. When I went online to look for one, the one that came up to fit my Explorer was listed as a Chrysler adapter. Is this correct?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
