Replacing Catalytic converters

I did go to autozone once and their incompetence made me feel insecure with them dealing with my car. I needed a new tank because the upper half of the tank was rusted out pretty bad when I saw it. It is a ten year old aluminum tank. It was nearly rusted through where the fuel pump assembly attaches to the tank.

haha, unless someone dumped liquid mercury on your gas tank its not aluminum cause aluminum doesn't rust. more than likely its regular steel painted or tarred...

autozone workers may be incompetent but all you need them for is to tell you the codes then you could have researched the codes yourself or asked us.

It is impossible for my '93 tank to rust.. It is plastic. However the sending unit lock ring and mating surface on the tank are steel.

I am a moron. It is a steel tank. Brought in the truck a week ago and the tank still has not arrived. I guess explorer tanks are not in high demand.
