replacing rear wheel bearing need help!!

I am replacing my rear wheel bearings on my 2002 explorer and i was told i needed the bearing, snap ring, flang, and a inner and outer seal

my question is do i need the seals?

the dealership said there was an inner and outer seal i would under stand if it had a soild axle but on irs i dont see where it is needed
 






The must be thinking of the rear differential. They came with two piece seals that are know to leak(mind does) and you replace them with a one piece seal. But you would be pulling the rear shafts out, but you don't need to when replacing your rear WB's.
