Guys you have to know about this, three of us from across the pond met up and checked each others exs out- Howard had fitted a set of reversing sensors to his ex and done a brilliant job on the install, looks really trick as he housed the main unit in the back by the jack, and stretched the indicator leds to fit in the front above the radio using cat 5 cable, a genius!
I have just today fitted the same sensor but was not brave enough to do any drilling and cutting, as unlike Howard I still have the 7000 unit still fitted as standard. The sensors works great and should be a great safety thing, as often I have the back so loaded up that I cannot see out the rear window!
Recomend that this is a useful mod that will save your insurance costs a bit and for only in stearling £34.

Peace to all ex owners- all else can suffer the pain of owning lesser carts!

I am familiar with the newer reversing sensors that beep (faster and faster as you near an object). Does this sensor have any audio output or just the LEDs? How many LEDs can the system support?

Sensors.

The unit has an audio warning as well as the leds the audio is a bleep type thing that get faster as you near the object. :afro:

Thanks for the info... My wife's Windstar mini van has the reverse sensor. It really comes in handy as 40% of all similar vehicles have their bumpers mangled from hidden objects etc..
