i dropped my truck 3 inches in the front and 2 in the rear took out the screws in the torsion bars completly got it aligned and they told me i needed new ball joints so i got new ones put in. aligned and everything

but the ride on the freeway seems like the steering wheel shakes just a tad its not smooth anymore like its bouncing or something. and it make some claking noises from the suspensin but everything is fine

is it normal for that to happen after lowering? will the edelbrock shocks help?

first off, are you still using your stock shocks, if so that is your problem, when you go lower and use the existing stock ride height shocks, they will bottom out, which will cause a very uncomfortable ride, and clunking from the shocks bottoming out. you need to get shocks that are designed for a lowered ride hieght. edelbrock has a set that are designed especially for explorers with a lowered ride height.
