Have we ever heard back from that company regarding a posibillity of getting a winch bumper for late Explorers from them?? Last I've heard was that they will look at it after the New Years......

it says right there Ranger/Explorer.....

and I know TJM doesn't make this kind of bumper for late models.... all they make is a push bar.

well, it sort of looks like they don't actually make these bumpers for newer Explorers........ bummer! That's exactly what I'm looking for.... and TJM don't make them as well....

the only option will be to go through a fab shop of some sorts.....perhaps I visit one tomorrow???



or make one myself? now why did I sell my MIG?!?!

I thought TJM made one fer later explorers.... But, geez.... search for Kennesaw or something like that... they make some stout bumpers for about 500 bucks... they look damn tough!

TJM makes only something but no wincher, RA makes some but not for newer Explorers...... Kennesaw? I checked their page..... that design for some reason doesn't work for me..... I don't know..... I kind of like the RA design a lot.

that Road armor is some sweet stuff. The late model crowd has many more options for bumpers, TJM and I believe ARB as well both make bumpers for them.

I'm almost certain I've seen one, I could be thinking of TJM though. I looked on ARB's website, they make one for the friggin Ford Courier but not the Explorer, LOL

Here's the TJM page - the only thing they sell for the newer X's is item T16 - it's just a grill guard-push bar. I'd love to get something like T15...

4X4Connection lists one for 95-99 Explorer as T15 which is the one with winch mount........ for $745.00

Road armour used to have a picture of a 95-98 style explorer with the bumper installed. It also had the rear bumper guard mounted. If i remember right it was a white explorer with white painted bumpers. I think it looks cool but i dont know if i want that much weight up front. if you start to slide on the road chances are you will spin. i didnt know if the bumper mounts were different on the 99-01 thats why i said it was for a 95-98. It gets rid of the whole airdam and has a slidplate i think so gorund clearance and apprach angle are alot better. on the wheel well side the bumper was cut more slanted to the front so it gives a little more room for tires. if i can find the pictures ill post them. TJM says they arent winch compatible. Unofficially they said they are. Just drill 4 holes to secure the winch. Cut the slot to for the cable. Then cut another slot on top to view the cable and access the clutch.

Problem is apparently some dude on here bought the last TJm one in the US. ARB says they wont make one. Let me guess they want 75 preorders before they make one heh. *******s....

I just talked to Rick from 4X4 Connection.... he told me at first that T15 will fit a 1998 Explorer no problem and it is winch ready....... price $745.00....... but when I asked how long it will take....... after a minute on hold he told me that this particular item has been discontinued......

what gives then????

ARB wont make jack for us. TJM said they might make a new t-15 for us in the future. Yea custom is the only way togo if you want something now.

im looking at these guys but i hear theyre back logged. havent called yet cause dont have my money yet. But has alot of features.
