Legacy is low-class budget brand in car audio. I would never run legacy/pyle/pyramid/rockwood crap in my truck.

Nice amps for cheap would be JBL, Hifonics, eD

Old thread or NOT....

I cringed when I read the thread topic. I hang with a group that only is into db drags and NOT what there rides looks or perform like. Mostly from Bass lovers of Maine ( yes in abbrv that is Team B.L.O.ME ... love it) and this is one of the oldest of the "age old questions". Most of the time you do get what you pay for unless you get a good deal on it. However if you by an audiovox HU it is low low end, yet there LCD screens are everywhere. Jus the way the market or personal likes go.

Rockford was bought by Lanzar. From what I've heard quailty went down after that.

Lanzar opti sreis are worth every penny. The lower models are still worth the money but they are over rated as far as output.
