My little brother rolled his 1984 SVO Mustang tonight. I was infront of him in my 93. We went around a turn and both hit ice, he lost it and ended upside down off a 40' hill. He is ok but the car is junk. We will be parting it out. It has a 2.3T with a World Class T-5 tranny.

Glad he is OK. That's actually not near as bad as I thought it was going to be. I rolled a '97 Monte Carlo when I was 16 and it looked like a pop can... and that was just into a ditch. They don't make them like they used too... well, Chevrolet never made anything worth a damn... except for the Cavalier I'm currently trying to sell... *cough*... umm... yeah. :-)

Go Ford!
Go Mustang!

ah that sucks! I hate to do it, but what does he want for that motor?

Ya, the car held up very well, the state trooper that came out was very surprised. Not sure on the motor, I will PM you when we get it all figured out. Its still hasnt set in yet that it has happened even though i watched it all in the rearview.

That sucks, that's a pretty lookin' stang he had there too.

Ouch- sad to see another SVO gone.

that sux bout ur bro ride and glad that is ok too.

Just makes the rest of the SVO's worth a little bit more.... He can part it out for a TON of cash... the SVO parts are getting pretty tough to find...

I almost bought one a few years ago... My school was getting rid of one that had been used as a turbocharger test mule... aside from the thermocouples installed on the turbo tubing, it was all original with 15,000 miles on it, garage-stored all its life, and all original (save for the tires).... I wish I'd had the cash to make it happen as they only wanted 5 grand for it.

Glad your brother's allright.

Sorry to hear of the roll over, but happy to hear your brother wasn't seriously hurt.

Wow, glad your bro is ok man! Rollovers bite. That was a sweet ride though.

SVO's are so nice, his looked really nice, good to read he is ok. Ebay a piece at a time and he will have a bunch of cash.
