When its cold the gaskets shrink which causes a vacum in the intake, the causes the roughness at start up. Whent the engine heats up the gaskets heat up and expand closing off the vacum. Thats why the engine runs fine after it warms up. Had mine repaired at the dealer $1,000 labor $200 parts.
That is a RECALL item that the stealership "SHOULD" have covered for you!!
I had my 98's intake gaskets replaced at NO COST to me.
