I accidently ran over a larg rock while at Blue Grotto ( Williston, FL ). The only damage is that my passenger side running board is bowed upward a couple inches in the center.

Ideas and suggestions for a fix are sought.

Thanks....

Al, not sure if yours are the same as mine, but,,, there are 4 'L' brackets that mount the boards to the chassis. If one of those are bent, replacement/repair should be easy and cheap.

If the corrigated support under the board itself is bent, you'll probably have to get a whole new board. At the very least, repair would be a PITA.

Good luck!

If it is aluminium it is bent for life :(
Adjusting the L brackets may offer some help.

Other wise, lay it on flat concreat, remove the rubber pad and go to town with a dead blow hammer.

We usually just replace bent running boards.

Best of luck.

Is the OEM running board fiberglass or plastic? I know Gerald has claimed a few to rocks and i'm not sure if you can fix the stock ones :(

I've got absolutely no clue what they sell for. I looked on ebay and the board and didn't see any for sale or any prices. PM me and make me an offer.
