Hello.
I have a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport with the SOHC. Lately, it has been running cold, or thats at least what the temperature gauge said. Today i was going 80 for about 2 hours straight and the temperature never rose on the gauge. The heat comes out normal and fine. I was thinking the thermostat, but then again i was also thinking about it being a sensor. Can anyone help me and help me fix this problem? Thanks!

It could be either...may even be the gauge is faultly.
I try the t-stat while your flush to coolant

If your heat is hot, your motor is hot... it's probably either the sender or the gauge
