Rust repair under warranty

Well, FORD opened themselves up for rust repair warranty coverage with their 5 year unlimited mileage warranty. I just got the rust on my 97 Sport repaired. All 3 door seams, across the top of the windshield and behind the LR wheel protector. They threw in painting my step bars. Had them painted the same color (Willow green) as the Sport instead of the silver trim. Looks REAL good. Thanks FORD.

Not sure when Ford started this. I believe in 1995 or 1996. But I do know that it's in effect for 1997 models on up. If the corrosion causes a hole or holes, it's covered for 5 years regardless of mileage.
