RWD to 4WD swap

Hi,
I have opportunity to buy 2wd ford explorer 2020 version King ranch, unfortunately it is only 2 WD. I though that to add some stuff to make it 4wd instead 2wd
Did anyone tried to do same ?
I'm looking for any details what parts are needed etc.

You would need the transfer case, front diff, shorter rear driveshaft, front driveshafts, new oil pan?, several electronic control modules with cables and probably some things i forgot.

And you need a guy that knows how to tell the car software wise it is now 4wd.
Not worth it in my opinion.

IMO, not nearly worth the time, expense and aggravation. Keep looking for a 4WD.

Let's start off with Ford didn't release the Ling Ranch Explorer until 2021 MY. Second, it would be really expensive to switch if to AWD (it's not 4wd its awd).

Welcome to the Forum.
As already mentioned, there is no 2020 King Ranch. I doubt that Poland would be any different. It would be very expensive if it could be changed to AWD and it certainly would void at least the Powertrain warranty. BTW, the King Ranch isn't even available in Canada.

Hi yes you are right.
It is exactly MFD 07/21 I men that it is new generation
Now it is on way to Poland little bit damaged but possible to fix it. So I was wondering is it worth to change RWD to AWD now I've checked that parts should be close at 3500$

I Poland there are available only hybrid version stiupid co2 emmison limits etc...

I've loved that brown leathers and design of that SUV
