Sand driving, plus Michellen LTX/MS, ?

oKAY peoples, i'm getting ready to go out to Assateague Island, to play out on the beach for the day, but the kicker is,,,,, I have a set of Michellen LTX/MS, regular size, 245-7575-16, ,, bone stock size. Are those capable at all for sand,?? Or should i put on my stuipd BFG all terrains, 31's on to go out? I dont wanna get stuck and i'm very little patience for a tow truck to come and get my dumb ass if i get stuck! lol,, So comments suggestions ect, please tell a fella which one is better!!! Thanks for any ideas! dave

you should be alright.drop the pressure down to like 14-16 psi..and drive steady and dont stop hard to dig yourself in,and if you have 4wd,,,use it

yeah it is a 4x4, and your saying i'd be cool w/ the street tires on?, great i'd hate to switch out for this one trip, thanks,
