Scanner running on battery [Time]

Probably a real dumb question:
8-led Knight Rider Scanner. How long can that run off the battery? I'm talkin a period of no longer than 5 hours or so. I figure if you can run a 13" TV off the battery for 4 hours, I should be able to keep those LED's running no problem.

If it's LED, then a long time. If it's incandecent like mine, I wouldn't run it for more than 2 or 3 hours.

Yeah, its def L.E.D., cauze only reason I bought this specific one was someone had a tutorial on how to use Autozone wiper LED's to change the colors. Figure if the authorities give me problems w/ the red, I'll go another shade.
