School me... best OBD1 scanner?

I normally try to stick with just OBD2 vehicles, but now owning a obd1 vehicle I need a scanner for it. I don't mind spending good money if it does extra useful things.

So what is everyone using?

hmmm... i have just the standard, nothing special!dont remember what it did/didnt do, as iirc i still have the scanner around somewhere, and dont have anythng OBD1 still... not too sure if ive still got it, but i dont remever gettin rid of it... maybe ill try it out again sometime if i ever get an obd1 vehicle someday!

Actron code reader is all you need with obd1

Basically it’s similar to using paper clip except the code reader takes the guess work out of reading the codes from a flashing cel

After that for major diagnosis an”breakout” box is used to
Emulate the pcm and test the circuits on the truck side, those things are $$$$ used to only find them at dealers

I am not aware of any “good” obd1 scanners simply code retrievers
