At Henson performance you can talk to James. He has a user name on here a forget what it is but he has been inactive for a month or so but I grabbed his email off their site and he replied within a half hour. i think it was even on a weekend. Many have been tuned from him with great success. His customer service is well above others from what i have heard. i hope to get a tune from him within a few weeks after i get some other mods done..

James at Henson Performance has been wonderful with me.

IMO, worth $379 for the firmer shifting alone. All the other great features are a bonus.

Yes, trans line pressure are among the other things that are controlled thru programming.

Proper transmission tuning has made many transmissions last far longer than they would with the factory programming.

oh yea, he can make the trans shift WAY harder. also program pats out, turn off o2 sensors, speed governors (thats in the hand held however) ect.

well I called him up today and he said that because I pretty much just have just bolt ons that I didn't need a custom tune so I had been watching a sct 3015 on ebay for a few days and it was almost ended and was cheap so I just got it but I might do some data logging and send him the data. idk yet but he did seem very knowledge on my truck so I hope to be dealing with him soon. thanks ya

I only have bolt ons as well but it's neat being able to tweak/tune/turn on/off things at your own will. I have changed mine enough and have had an increase in mpgs and power as well. But also a decrease in all these too, trial and error thats all.

I did win that sct on ebay today so when it gets in I am going to try it out.Karpiel73 what do you mean by you were tweeking and tuning do u have a program or something to go in there and work on the tune or should I just wait and do some more motor stuff like maybe a supercharger or something.

I didn't buy any sort of tune from anyone, i'd like to though. But on the controller itself you can do a number of things. I changed Idle rpm, egr on/off, o2s on/off and a few other things I know i'm forgetting.

Keep your eye's out for a Innovate Wideband o2 cheep also.
If your going to send James logs, he will want to see the A/F ratio also.

Between logging thru the odb2 port and a/f ratio's he can give you a great tune.

I thought o2s and egr helped gas mileage why would you want them off?

so it would be better if I put a wideband o2 in? What about a trans temp gauage to I have a bigger pan on it because I already have a shift kit installed(the offroad/towing package)I guess I should put a guage pillar in so I can monitor those? So where should I put the wide band o2 sensor at on the exhause and should I put two in because it is dual exhaust in and out?

I can't comment on the o2 sensor but in my opinion a trans temp gauge is very beneficial. Mine lets me know when to back off and pull over if needed while pulling my trailer. They're simple to install also.

Ok so I will be looking to put a trans temp in probally as soon as possible.
