I've used Seafoam in the past and it's great stuff. It seems to clean the fuel system very well. I would like to run some through my 97 Mountaineer. The can says that it treats up to 20 gallon, but would it hurt to add more than they suggest? Could I dump two cans of Seafom in 10 gallons of gas just to really clean the heck out of the injectors and the rest of the fuel system? Just wondering, thanks.

I'd follow the directions on the can, but thats just me :D

If it were that simple (just add MORE) don't you think SeaFoam would tell you to do so, since their product would then work better and they'd sell even more of it.

I imagine if you were to double the amount of seafoam in the same amout of gas your engine would have a tad bit more difficult time burning your seafoam/gasoline mixture. If you ask me, is say follow the directions
