hi folks a friend of mine has a 94 ranger xlt that is in need of new seatbelts. If anyone knows where we can find replacement belts. Im finding alot of universal offerings but we would like to find same as originals. Of course the lower the cost the better. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS

Junk yard

LMC Truck should offer them new. Also check eBay as many parts yards will sell there.

Has anyone used the LMC truck belts? I have been looking at getting mine rewebbed but the price seems to be good from LMC. The description and picture is confusing though. It makes no mention of 3 point or shoulder belt, it just says lap belt however the length of 60" sounds like it is the 3 point.

..Check with Scott B.

..He did a bunch of shopping and research when he replaced his seat belts in his Ranger..Hopefully he will chime in here too..:D

Yep, page 65 shows the center rear seat "lap belt" only:

You have to call LMC for the front "shoulder belt" not in the catalog but they have em.

They are not vehicle specific: Just length specific so they will know what you need.

Wait, LMC has stuff that's not in the catalog? Any chance they'd have Explorer Sport door panels for manual windows??

Nice try, but no, that would be vehicle specific.

On the other hand they just may if it crosses over to the Mazda's, Mercury's

Worth the phone call.

The drivers seat belt buckle on my Ex quit springing back and thus wouldn't buckle. I found that by sticking something flat like a popsicle stick in, I could "reset" it and get it to buckle again. But once the button was pressed to release the buckle, you would have to manually reset it again. I then had the brilliant idea of buying an extension for it.

This guy sells genuine Ford seat belt extensions for $15

Popped mine on and it's effectively brand new. Cheaper and much easier than buying a whole new assembly that bolts to the floor. Just as safe too. Not to mention, it's easier to fasten since I don't have to fight the center console to get my seat belt on now.

I had the same issue. Mine I replaced with a junkyard unit for under $3.

My seat belt latch was give'n me the same grief;

Sticky soda spill was the cause, hot water was the cure. $0.0 .. Ha, I win... LOL :D
