light on dash comes on but seat stays cold. i think it is the heater in the seat is this a pain to fix?and does seat have to come out to repair? thanks

Yes, the best way to fix this would be disconnect the seat and remove it to a workbench.
You will need to remove the leather covers to access the heater elements, which are glued into the seat foam.

It's just two cables that go to the pads, but they are a pain to access and with hog rings attaching the leather to the seat foam it's not worth it in my opinion.

I live in TX and never use the seat heaters though.

I recovered my seats and so know what you'll be dealing with.

thanks i think i will just leave it alone
