2017 ford explorer xlt
Hey folks. This is my first attempt at posting here. Anywho, just picked up a 2017 explorer xlt yesterday during our snow storm. So just checking her over in the shop and I see the second row has wiring connected to the seats. We did not go for heated seats back here, but would it come wired for them? I'm not sure what other wiring would connect to them.
Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the Forum.
Do you have a 2nd row bench or buckets. Wiring could be there for inflatable seat belts or the fold and flip power buckets. The wiring could also be there for heated seats although the seats themselves may not have the installed items.

Oh right. It has a bench. I never thought of the other options. That makes sense for any of those. Thinking as I'm typing, the seat belts are probably inflatable. They are not the standard belts. We just traded an 09 flex in for this and I know it didn't have any wiring to the rear seats even though I'm pretty sure heated seats were optional. I'm still trying to get used to all this new fandangled equipment. Thanks for the input.

Just came in from clearing a foot of snow from the driveway. The snowplow should be by now any minute. :D
You can check out all the item on the vehicle on this site; https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRe...id=BAE3377EB00640448E87D652744709EC.eccvas503
Happy motoring.
