Well, lately it seems all my Mustang buddies have figured that I have the best garage, and most tools, so it is the ideal place to work in. Which I don't mind because I love workin on Mustangs.

So our latest adventure was installing a Magnaflow Cat-back on an '03 GT.

The kit (the tips aren't in the pic). $400

The money shot. :p

The install was smooth and problem free. At one point we had about 7 guys in there "helping". :D It made me want to put exhaust on my truck pretty bad.

Here are a couple movies. The first is once we removed the stock exhaust. You can't just throw the new stuff on without starting the car and revving a few times.

And here is the final product. Much better than stock, I might add.

Stay tuned. I installed a nitrous wet kit (stealth mode) on my buddy's '00 GT last weekend. I'll have some pics of that pretty soon.

That looks like the Magnapack setup, I'm guessing your friend ordered the Magnaflow catback and then you guys removed the mufflers to install the Magnapack mufflers, unless they sell a full Magnapack exhaust now which I don't think they do?

But just from the sound and look, those are definitley the Magnapacks, a buddy had LT's, Magnaflow shorty x-pipe and the Magnapacks on an 01' Cobra he had and it was louder and meaner then any Flowmaster setup I've heard, they absolutley scream and sound like all hell is breaking loose at full throttle.

Magnaflow all the way when it comes to Stangs! Is he running an x or h pipe? If he's running stock, tell him to get a non catted Magnaflow x-pipe or tell him to check out the new MRT h-pipe thats awsome.

For anybody that doesn't know, the Magnapacks are a hell of a lot louder and meaner then the regular Magnaflow mufflers like what some of you run on your truck.

Nice stang:D How long did it take to install?

thats looks sweet. i use to have a 93 gt and a 94 cobra. and since then ive been outta them. so im wondering what does a 03 gt run in the 1/4 ?

Yeah, Saleen, it was those Magnapacks. He brought it back over for some final adjusting. Said it was getting better sounding by the day.

It took us about 3 hrs maybe for the install. That was with Chuck anally writing down the size of every nut and bolt underneath the car for future reference or something.

that's how my friends use my garage. once you get alot of air tools, its all over with. good thing is we have an unspoken agreement that if they come over to use it they bring beer and i drink for free. :D ive got a friend coming over today so we can do a torsion twist/airdam bumper cut on his 03 Supercrew so he can fit some 33's. i feel like its gonna be a Corona day.

Nice, John!

Yea, airtools will bring in friends alright. They supply the beer you supply the peanuts. :D

My own dream car garage- have an Explorer and a Mustang GT in there. I already talked to the wife about getting one. We needed a 3rd car since I work on my X all the time and she would like a back up car as well just incase the Rav4 is being worked on. She even agreed to have a stick. Cool wife!

i can fit 3 cars in my barn :D

Hey, now I know where to go for service:D
