I picked the truck up on Saturday. It was actually done on Wednesday. But since I never come home anymore....

Sarah called the dealer earlier on Saturday morning to ask if we could get it (since Parts and Service is closed on the weekends). Since all the paperwork was already done they said bring your $513 and come get it.

After I got there and paid the man, I walked out to the truck and first thing I noticed was the fog light harnesses hanging down below the front axle. WTF? They had it for four extra days and no one noticed this? So I spent a few minutes under the truck routing the wires and plugging in the lights.

But it was definitely good to see the truck again. It runs like new : . The dogs were stoked to ride in the bed again.

Before buying this thing, Dodge was an option. By best friends Dad was going to trade is '06 in on an '08. I demo'd the '06 (4-door, CTD, loaded) for a week down in the city. It was super nice looking but it rode like complete ass.

But there's a nice blue Megacab lifted on some bling wheels at the dealer in Fremont. With that $2.99 diesel scam thing.. I keep getting tempted.

But I wanted a PSD since 1999. So there's little chance I'd get anything else.

If they didn't mess up the bodies on the new Duramax's I'd totally sport one of those too. My buddy has one (the one who towed me home the first time I blew the 6.oh no up) and it rides like a caddy.

So what part of this cost you the $513? Warranty deductable is $100.

Well the bumper lasted me exactly 7 months. I hit a deer on the way out to my dad's house with a bed full of tree limbs. Luckily I wasn't going too fast (about 40) and with the truck being so tall there was minimal damage. All I'll need to replace is the actual bumper, fogs, and probably the brackets.

I drove that road for 18 years and never once came close to hitting a deer. :roll:

Oh yeah, in non-related news my sunroof broke. Torrie quoted my $600 for the parts I need. Looks like Ford is taking $1k from me this week. I sorta need the roof to close before it rains much more.

Oh yeah, the deer was a total loss. Had to put it out with the .45.

Ford gets $350ish just for the chrome piece. So I'll probably be pimpin the body damage until I come across another bumper on CL. Cause $350 for the chrome and $180 for the brackets is a lot. Plus however much the fog lights and brackets cost (probably another $200).

Well...That's a leason for me I have think of getting a new stereo, but taking a old factory ones face, to make a dummy cover. Now I will be going that root for sure

I had been talking about doing that too. Guess I'll have to once the new one goes in.

They didn't take the Bluetooth part of it. So, I wonder if any of the newer, more badass units use the same Bluetooth.

I set my Stic-cam up to view the driveway now. Think I'll invest in some more cams.

My new moonroof is in. So I'm installing that right now.

Moonroof > Deer VS Bumper > Broken back window > Stolen stereo. I should trade this thing in.
