Hey its been awhile since i have posted but i don't where else to turn, it seems now that every time i come to a stop i hear a crunching noise in the front end. It also makes a popping noise when i turn the wheel while i have my foot on the brake pedal. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Probably time to replace the front brake pads, or at least check them out.

When the pads go past the wear point, they go down to the rivets and cut into the rotors. Things get crunchy and expensive to replace.

If you're lucky, you just need new anti-rattle clips and/or caliper slide pin grease on the pins that hold the caliper in place. If not, you'll be replacing pads, rotors, and maybe more.

I had this with a 95 I baught for parts. It had good pads and rotors on it. Maybe something with the ABS? The pedal felt like stepping into soft gravle too, are you noticing that?
