Have a 98 XLT 5.0L w/93K on the odometer. I purchased it used last september and have been using it everyday. There are no problems, but I think it's time for a tune-up because it seems to have the stock spark plug wires and distributor caps. Anyway here's my question. What suggestions do you all have for spark plugs, wires, dist. caps or anything else I may need to perform a serious tuneup? Thanks for your help :D .

okay your 98 GT-40 5.0L has no distributor :) hahaha

at 93K miles I would do:
Motocraft platinum plugs
Taylor Spiro wires (or good wires of your choice)
Clean MAS
Clean IAC and TB
fuel filter
K&N panel air filter
check/change/flush trans fluid and new filter
Change transfer case fluid
flush cooling, power steering, and brake fluids (if needed)
Consider a new thermostat, check the hoses and belt
B&G fuel system cleaner for EFI

thats about it!
at 93K miles its getting close to time for shocks, 02 sensors, ball joints, etc too

I agree, motocraft platinum's! Good plugs for the cost.
I'd do a full flush (in fact I did today for winter) which I'd recommend to all northerners
Air filter change
check tire pressure/alignment

Hell check everything! 410 picked out what I was going to say, so I can't comment too much aside of agreement to the platinum plugs and an air filter in addition to his list.

BGs 44K is probably the best fuel system cleaner - I would also possibly look into a induction cleaning (BG also makes that but you need a special tool for it).

One thing I would add to 410's list is to change the fluid in the differential(s). Ford says that they don't need changing unless the axles have been submerged in water but I still like to change the fluid every 50k miles or so, and clean off the magnet. I guess just peace of mind.

Also, if you are looking for a bit of performance with your tune-up, get the MAC intake instead of a K&N air filter. I had a K&N on my 5.0 and while it was a bit freer-flowing than the paper filter, the MAC really changed the sound of the engine and greatly increased throttle response. K&N's filter runs about $60 for the 5.0. The entire MAC kit is just a hair more than double that. I got mine for $139 shipped from proficientperformance.com. It gave a nice boost in mileage too, provided that I keep my foot out of it :D .
