Has anyone done this? Did you like the result? I might paint my truck and I don't think I want any badges on it. Would i just use some bondo to fill holes or something?

with a 98 you can take yours off really easy..heat them up and take themn off..easy as pie no holes behind the 98-01s

As above use a hairdryer, not a heatgun, get the area warm, than using about 30 lb test fishing line, shave them off
remove the excess crap with goo gone or gas

is there any holes on 91's?

yes

FWIW filling holes with just body filler ( bondo ) is totally unrelaible.
Holes should be welded.

I shaved my whole hatch. T-handle and all.

Like the others have said, body filler WILL NOT stay in place on a hole. it MUST BE WELDED. Unless of course you LIKE the idea of the filler falling out after you get it painted....

my t-handle will be shaved very soon as well.

can you tell me who's products you used to actuate it- i am not sure who makes the best/which stuff to order.

I just have a cheap-o 15 lb. actuator to pop the glass open, if I want the whole hatch open, I just reach in and turn the T-handle that I re-mounted on the interior.

There was quite a bit of work involved in flipping the T-handle. I have pics I can send to anyone that wants them. If you have pics, you could probably replicate what took me 13 hours to do, in a matter of 1-2 hours.

But as for what products to use, I have shaved a number of vehicles, and have used everything from no-name 'made in Taiwan' crap to AutoLoc, and BELIVE ME.....spend the extra $$ on the AutoLoc actuators. I don't like their alarms much (Stellar brand), as they leave alot to be desired. But their mechanical products are SECOND TO NONE.

ok cool. thats about what i figured. i plan on actuating everything rather than flipping the handle.

What the devil?? Flip the T handle around? CAn someone show me a pic of what this looks like? Me not smart.
