1994 Ford ranger 4x4 xlt
Hi thank you for accepting me. Now I m new to the Ford thing and I need to know if a94 Ford ranger 4x4 xlt and a 96 Ford explorer 4x4 are interchangeable on the front rotors

Probably not, but I’m not 100% sure. 98% sure. ;)
96 is gen2 for Explorers. 94 Ranger has the same front axle as gen1 Explorers (91-94).

Look on Rockauto and compare part numbers for the two vehicles..
 






Nope
94 Ranger uses Dana 28 or 35 TTB
96 Explorer is Dana 35 SLA suspension
Completely different styles of wheel bearings, spindles, etc
Wheel bearings on the old Ranger were roller bearings a inner and an outer with races inside the rotor and a wheel seal on the back of the rotor
The 95-01 Explorer uses unit bearings
Completely different rotors, brakes, bearings, etc etc etc
