I'm looking to lift my Sport Trac, what type of shocks would provide the smoothest ride? What would you guys recommend?I've rode in my friend's rangers and they all have procomp schocks and the ride is really harsh, are all schocks gonna be like ths? I know most of the shocks dont provide a smooth ride with more performance in mind, input would will be appreciate, thanks.

Welcome..Lots and lots of opinions on this subject..I like the Rancho 5000's. They are cheap and give me a decent ride, on or off road.And they look great with the rest of my red suspention parts.

I have used the Edelbrocks and the Old Man Emu shocks before and liked both of them, although I did like the Old Man Emu's better. I did however descover that when I changed to the Old Man Emu 2" lifted springs, I got a much better ride than just changing the shocks. Just something to think about.
