Blake, do you ever take your ex on the road? I was wondering how the Maxxis tires wear.
I'm jealous of the full width swap. My front 44 and stock 8.8 look a little skinny on my ST.

Before and after

Here are a couple pic's. First pic is the day after I bought my 05 X and the second pic is what I have done. I have owned my X for almost 11 months and love it!!!

Looks great man! I love that front bumper, looks like a prerunner style! Super jealous!

Thanks! The bumper is factory I just trimmed it a little. I am going to order the fiberglass prerunner fenders from McNeil Racing next month.

Used the explorer to take the buggy to rocks and valleys. 60 on surface rds and 65 highway with the cruise set and overdrive off. Averaged 10.5 mpg. Didn't think that was to bad given the weight and higher rpms with not running overdrive. I really should of installed my brake controller though. Stopping was interesting. Lots of lead room and anticipation of what the idiots in front of me were doing.

my AAL, shackles and tt sitting on 305/70/16. Putting 3" body lift on this weekend.

There is a lot of nice Trucks in this thread. Here’s mine, 3” Body Lift, 2” Spacer Lift, and 265/75/16’s on 16X8 -6 rims for a total of 6-1/2” of lift.

Here she is parked next to a stock explorer.

Here is how she looked a month after I got the truck last October.

Figured it was time to add my explorer to the mix.
5.5" James Duff Lift, 33x12.5 Pro Comp XTREME MT2 Tires, 4.56 gearing, Rear Detroit Locker / Front Eaton ELocker + other upgrades.
Constant work in progress.
