:D:D:D Guess he didn't see the Terminator movies!!

On a serious note, the airbags are usually very well protected from going off on their own. Since you didn't get hit from the side while parked with the engine on, I would wonder if there was something shoved under the seat that may have broken/shorted/compromised the airbag connection (the yellow wires)??
Have you done or had done any work on the vehicle that involved any of the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System)? I'm pretty conservative when it comes to air bags; I don't consider them a DIY subject and would take the car to a dealer or trusted mechanic. Good luck.

Did no work to the srs an just looked all wires look good.I did a lil looking an found a recall for the 00 model for the side airbag. So ford main office is looking in to it now but still kinda scary that it just blew for no reason. All I can say is I'm glade it was side bags an not the steering wheel since my pregnant wife was driving an only got hit on her arm wich is very brused. Ty for ur input
