Well 9am and the little LX showed up, I went over it pretty well, and yes for a 114,000 mile car, it has a few issues here and there but it runs really nice, has ice cold r12 A/C, and is just super clean under the car no rust, originally from Florida, and until about 14 hours before it showed up in my driveway, from Arizona, it now resides here in Texas.

Pinstripes are coming off!!!!!

Check out the two tone interior:

A/C is still refrigerant r12 and blows snow balls:

When was the last time you saw the original dampener protectors?
As you can see they changed the factory mufflers and put dumps on it, but I actually have a set of factory stainless tailpipes to put back on it, a bucket of soapy water and a sponge and she'll sparkle underneath.

And it matches my Navajo :p:

You forgot about the 7th generation F-Series trucks too ;)

BTW, those aren't Exploders, their Navajo's :p:

HAHAHA just ribbing you :wavey:

I understand, I'm not exactly pleased when people call my mountaineer an explorer, or a Jeep for that matter. I might be ok with the jeep thing if someone mistook it for an srt-8 jeep though as Limited02's was last time we were at the track.

So what are the plans for this one? Will it stay stock or is it going to get some goodies?

Bone stock, fix and replace what's needed and daily driver :)

Worth more that way, survivor if you will, there's enough of them out there that are molested, hard to find them when there not.

This one isn't perfect, but an 85' 5.0 5spd w/3.73's and in an LX wraper is rare in it's self, not to mention two tone interior w/a vinyl headliner and map light, no rear defrost or dead pedal.

Cool, I thought you might have had something planned for it since you called it a sleeper in the title. But it will make a good daily driver too. Any idea what kind of mileage it gets?

Wow, that is in excellent health for the vintage. How do you find them?

Jon I really just don't know  they kind of just find me, and if I would have more monies on hand I could have more, I have had to pass on quite a few nicer "survivors".

It's weird seeing a house across the street.

Oh yeah... nice little commuter! :)

Yeah it's wierd, and worse off that house IS STILL NOT FINISHED!!:mad::mad:

I said I wouldn't get another one, well, that kind of like I what I said some 20 years ago about owning a truck, that is wold never happen, bought a Lightning and the rest is history

BTW, one of my fellow instructors will be in Chico the later half of this week.

Wow, a stock foxbody. I havent seen one since......... hell since probably high school.

They really offered 3:73 from the factory? Learn something new every day.

Nice find, Jeff!

Looks like the twin (minus wing) and different interior color to the one my buddy just picked up in Montana 3 weeks ago. (his is a tan interior) He flew out to drive it home, and now he's tired of it and wants to sell it. LOL! He's got his eyes on a black Idaho SSV that he wants badly.

Four-eyed pride! ;D

I want a Fox body,,,,, really clean :salute:
