I wouldn't wet-sand the clear-coat on a brand new production vehicle! There's not enough material to work with there. On custom paint jobs they put down at least 3 coats of clear (sometimes more) just to be able to perfect the finish by sanding and buffing away the orange peel.
Thanks! Found one! Are there any other TTY bolts i should note?

I don't know what else you're taking apart, but yes...
Head bolts
Cam gear bolts
Crank shaft and rod bolts
Jack shaft bolts

Mask well (the vehicle and everything in the same space as the vehicle) as that **** floats and ends up EVERYWHERE

@C420sailor will do lol. I got it back together and it runs great now! now it just needs a new muffler... what are your thoughts on the borla pro xs series? someone said they can get me one for cheap...

I had a loudish muffler on my SOHC for a while. I didn’t realize it was a ‘performance’ exhaust when I ordered it.

The drone was horrible. Road trips were terrible—headache terrible. And it sounded like **** bc it’s a V6.

I went back to a stock exhaust. I’ve been running the Walker stainless super quiet system.

so... i finished it... i cut balance shaft chain, left sprockets in... and now it runs great... under moderate accel, around 2500-3500 it has a vibration... it's not jarring, but it isn't light either... it is only felt i the front end...is this because of the lack of the shaft chain? was i supposed to retime it? or, could it be the ujoints? if anyone has a solution, pls let me know!

Retime what? You replaced guides/cassettes?

Did you replace the balance shaft timing components or just disable the balance shaft chain and remove it

If you replacing the timing components on the balance shaft then yes timing is needed

i removed the chain... i left the sprocket in because i couldn't find a plug for it

I’m confused...you dug into the engine just to disconnect the balance shaft?
