something quiter than flowmaster 40's

guys if u got any mufflers quieter than a FM40 than i'd be willing to buy or trade for the FM. just talk to me cause with th GF always complaining its even more annoying than the exhaust.. its on the v6..

the 70 series on the V8's sound awesome !!!!!! so i dont blame you lol

magnaflow's are terribly loud either, bought one off amazon for 80$ w/ free shipping. i had a delta 40 on my red V6, and it was awesome loud. but with my nicer 05 i wanted to get something a little more tolerable this time. Im happy with my purchase.

now i cant wait to really open up the exhaust and go 2.5'' pipe for better mpg, and better top end lol

50 series suv flowmaster are loud under any load.
nice and deep tone. quite on freeway unless giving it some gas

I wonder is the V6 is a little quiter than a V8? You know I have the 70, but I wouldn't describe it as quite. As a matter of fact, I think it's kind of loud for a 70 and being hearing impaired with no problem of hearing it, must be saying something?

Next week, Tylers02 and I will be meeting up to shoot a sound vid(and smoke show) to compare his Magnaflow to my Flowmaster.

I have a thrush glasspack. it's loud but i want just a little louder. so Im guessing the flowmaster 40 is not louder? im sure it sounds better, even though (Call me crazy) i think my glasspack dont sound too bad with my K&N intake

yeah the 70 series is quiet for a V6 it sounds a lot different with a V8 with the 70 series.

Not a fan of the 70 series on a V6, and now im glad i went with the magnaflow instead. A 70 series on V8 though does sound pretty nasty !
