South Lake Tahoe Area July 2010

Anybody have any trips planned to the south lake Tahoe area in July this summer? Are there any beginner / intermediate trail locations in a 20 mile vicinity of south lake Tahoe? Going up there with the family and a few friends with SUV's and would love to have a day trip somewhere fun.

Recommendations would be great. If it turns into anything i will post if anybody wants to join.
