so my explorer has been sitting for about two weeks. i go out and start it today and it was running pretty rough i figured from sitting there so i let it run for a while took it for a ride and when i got home it was still running rough. i popped the hood and was looking around while it was running and i noticed on one of the spark plugs i can see the spark every couple seconds. could the wire have came loose somehow? i tried pushing it on more but the engine was hot so im going to wait till it cools down to try it again, or could it need new plugs? i tried searching around and couldnt find anything so any info would be great

not sure i bought it about 2 or 3 months ago i havent been driving it that much but i no they havent been changed since ive owned it, im probably going to just change the plugs but like everyone else says and how it looks its going to be a pain

If you saw arcing it is most likely a bad wire. With 25,000 volts or so going through them it doesn't take much for them to "leak"

If you can afford it, do both wires and plugs.

well i got it out and some how its cracked. i changed 3 of the plugs so far, the easiest ones i could get to. they didnt look that bad anyway how bad would it be to just leave the rest for now?

I would do the rest of the plugs. It easiest to get to them thru the fender wells.

except for the middle one on the drivers side that one looks pretty much impossible, it looks like theres some sort of little pipe or something in the way
