Just for the heck of it I gave my rig half throttle from a dead start for the 400 feet stretch. I got just shy of 50 mph. So I'm guessing if I really throttled it I could be doing 60 or better in that space.

Lol, My old Stang had the mods, the Ex has only a single in dual out Flowmaster..Oh and a K&N wannabe air filter..I do appreciate all the responses, but I'm dead serious when I say I was not trying to speed, nor was I being heavy on the peddle..I actually had to slow down to allow the car in front of me to make a left turn into the dollar general store..I guess maybe I caught the cops attention when he heard the Flowmaster as I then accelerated as I drove by him idk..I know where these guys like to lurk, heck I wave at most of them as we pass by while they're trolling...I never have felt the need for any fuzz buster devices, and last speeding infraction was in 2000 in Tampa and have driven thousands of miles through many states since then..I feel I'm innocent and will just have to explain why when given the chance and hope for the best..
Well I wish you good luck and hope you beat it...if i was in your shoes and had the time, guilty or not I'd fight it too, just because. It's been 29 years since my last speeding ticket (though I've had countless verbal and written warnings, hat-in-hand with bowed head goes a long way) 74 in a 55 zone, forget how much the ticket was, but because it was over the (then) national speed limit I had to go to court, prosecutor offered everyone there a one-time deal of $100 and go home (I took the deal, along with 90% of the others).
