Moral: if you have a speeding problem, get bigger tires and bigger gears.

I hear that... used to have a 5.0 stang and drove it hard (and paid many tickets for the privilege). ... with my lifted explorer my grandmother could pass me... I save the X for offroad where the rush is just as gratifying (plus no tickets!)

Ok, I don't see this thread going anywhere.. So, I'm closing it.. I think he got the idea..

Speeding that fast is bad, if you have a problem, crash or get a ticket, you have to be willing to take that with the fun...

Many of us have also done something stupid like that.. (I've been to 167mph on 2 wheels.. I wouldn't do something like that now except on the track)..

It does only take once to learn the lesson, the trick is learning it as cheaply as possible..

I say, 'nuf said.. call it a day...
