Getting poor tires so you can show off sounds like an extremely unsafe idea.
if you have the brown wire mod you should be able to spin the tires at least a little bit off the line, I test drove one without the brown wire mod before I bought my mounty and I got on it off the line and could feel the back tires start to slip before the x-fer case kicked the front tires in.
my 98 can usually spin em from a stop without brakes and its an ohv with an auto, but it is a sport and it is only a 2-err... one wheel drive with 3.73's.
